Hotel Information

The rustic yet elegant Keystone Lodge is located at the heart of Keystone Village. Bustling and energetic, Keystone’s original village has a festive atmosphere that includes shops, galleries, restaurants and the Keystone Lake. Many summer activities such as bike rental, horseback riding, hiking, and golf can be found just outside your door.

*Hotel rooms cost as low as $110 per night but availability is limited. Studios, 1 & 2 bedroom condos range from $125 to $209 per night. Call Keystone Group Reservations at 1-800-258-0437 to make lodging reservations before June 1, 2008. Mention that you are with the IBARMS workshop to receive discounted rates. (These rates will be honored 3 days prior and 3 days after the workshop.) The hotel charges a $40 cancellation fee on all lodging, a standard for Colorado resorts.

Airport to Resort Shuttle

Discounted door-to-door ground transportation to and from Denver airport to Keystone Resort is available up to three days before and after the conference. Colorado Mountain Express has been selected to assist with your travel needs. Please allow up to two hours to travel by road from the airport to the resort.

Mountain Living: What you need to know

Dress for comfort. Some meals will be served outside, so dress in layers.
Altitude. Beautiful and scenic Keystone is nestled in the Rocky Mountains with an elevation of more than 9000 feet. People with special health concerns are advised to take the altitude into consideration.
Weather gear advice. You may want to spend some time outdoors in Colorado’s always interesting weather. Please bring walking shoes and rain wear.
Drink water. Drink water. Drink water.

College Credit Available

1 hour of graduate credit is available through Kent State University. Pre-registration required, as is additional tuition and additional assessment.

Conference Substitutions and Cancellations

Substitutions can be made in writing through (TBD) without charge. Substitutions are made on a space available basis when requested in writing.

On-site substitutions involving subject or level changes may be assessed a $50 fee.

Cancellations. Registrants unable to attend or send a substitute participant for the same workshop may receive a refund less a $50 cancellation fee, provided the cancellation is requested in writing by (TBD). Because conference arrangements are finalized on this date, we are unable to accommodate cancellation requests made after June 4, 2009.
